Offering Distance Learning, Before and After School and Summer Camp — a place where the children can be safely cared for while exceeding their educational goal, allowing their parents to continue to work and or serve our community.
NEYC is fully operational, with remote sites at our sister locations, The Ivy Academy (Elgin) and The Ivy Academy II (Geneva, IL), enabling sites the ability to work with almost every school district and near transit and healthcare hubs.
We challenge and support each student in order to provide them with the skills to be successful and establish a sense of compassion, humility, integrity and sensitivity towards others.
Keeping NEYC Safe
The health and safety of students and staff members remain our highest priority. All social distancing protocols will be followed at NEYC, including;
- Limiting classrooms to fewer than 15 students (per area, may change with guidance from Governor’s office)
- Regular cleaning and disinfecting all sites
- Educating students on best practices
- Onsite daily monitoring of staff and student’s and logging temperatures
All staff members have completed all the necessary training included by not limited to
- Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED training
- Food Handler’s Safety Course
- INCCRA School Age Inservice training
- COVID Training for the workforce and classroom environment
